Do not attempt to beat defenders in impossible situations.

Be proactive and effect the touch to promote second phase play.

Always try to get to side of defender and not in front. This allows you to follow through and clear roll ball area.

Ball should be in carry position in both hands, in front of chest around sternum area.

Touch is made with hand closest to the defender. The other hand secures the ball against the chest.

At the time the touch is made, body should already be bent preparing for the roll ball.

Touch must be made before the ball is released.
